Kallarkutty Dam

Kallarkutty Dam is a prominent masonry gravity dam situated near Vellathooval village in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. Commissioned in 1961 across the Mudirapuzha River—a major tributary of the Periyar River—the dam serves as the primary reservoir for the Neriamangalam Hydroelectric Project.
