Valara Waterfalls
Valara Waterfalls is a majestic, multi-tiered natural cascade located along the Kochi-Madurai National Highway (NH 85) in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. Situated roughly 14 km from Adimali and 42 km before Munnar, it originates from the Deviyar River and plunges down a massive rock face from an approximate height of 300 to 1,000 feet. Surrounded by dense, lush forests, it serves as one of the most iconic, refreshing roadside stopovers for travelers driving up toward the Munnar hill station.
